Welcome Dinner - September 18th Click here to register
We offer classes several times a year called New Members where you can learn all about what it means to be a member here. We begin with a one-half day class on Saturday morning and then 4 follow-up sessions which are held on Sunday mornings at 9am.
The classes are designed to inform you and answer your questions about Spanish River Church: what we believe, what are our values, what is our philosophy of ministry, what is our church organization, why you would want to take the committed step of joining the Spanish River family as a member.
We promise you will have a great time while meeting new friends. It’s fun, interactive and relational, a time to make meet more of the folks who attend here and get to know the Spanish River Church staff.
What should you expect? This will be a time of getting acquainted, meeting the staff, receiving class materials with info that you'll want to know, the actual class and group discussion time. Please bring your Bible if you have one. If you don’t have one, we will be happy to give you a Bible. There is no cost to you.
Childcare is available but you must notify us in advance to make a reservation.

We offer a Communicants Student Membership Class for middle school students who are interested in joining the church.
At SRC, when we talk about the church we often use the word family. Families are made up of generations of people that come under one name. We want to equip the next generation to be a part of the family of God, unified under the name of Jesus. One of the ways that we do this is through our Communicants class.
Communicants is a place for 6-8th grade students to learn the basics of faith and prepare for membership in the church. The class meets for four weeks and goes over the basics of the gospel. Our hope is that students that take the class are able to articulate the bad news and good news of the gospel and how it has changed their life. The class also spends some time talking about what makes SRC unique and gives students the opportunity to demonstrate a clear Christian testimony.
The course is taught by the Student Ministries Pastor, Andy Nelson. At the end of the course, students are able to be interviewed by an elder of the church for membership. This class is a great opportunity for students to grow in their understanding of their faith and join in the family of God.
