SRC Church Planting in Colombia
Pastor Leonel Ortiz, our movement leader in Colombia, has planted several churches in Villavicencio and the surrounding area.
Pastor Ortiz is also involved in training Indian leaders as port of an outreach to Mitú in the Vaupés region of the Colombian Amazon.
Pastor Javier Gil leads the church planting efforts in Cali in the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia where he has planted six churches.
Specific Purpose of this Trip:
- Work with Pastors Leonel Ortiz and Javier Gil
- Participate in conducting a Vacation Bible School as an outreach
- Provide medical/dental screening
- Visit the SRC church plants in the Cali area
Who should go:
- The Spanish speaking small group (lead by Fernando Ortiz)
- Involved in planning and participating
- Most of the group are from Columbia
- One member has nursing skills
- Others with medical / dental skills
- Others to help with children and planning the VBS
