A relationship with Jesus is an incredible adventure. Our Sunday School alternative is a wonderful place for your children to learn about what it means to know and love God.
We want children to love coming to church!
We strive to creatively teach scriptural truth at a child's level of understanding.
River Adventure is offered during both the 9:00am & 10:45am services
Check In Procedure
Drop Off & Pick Up
Infants and children ages birth through pre-kindergarten (up to age 5) are checked in and picked up at their individual classrooms in the Early Childhood Center (rear/south end of the Worship Center; enter from either the east or west side of the building through the glass doors).
There is a Family Room available where parents can watch the service on a TV monitor while staying with their infants/children in the family room after the deadline cut-off or if a child is fussy and needs to be with mom or dad.
Check-in closes 30 minutes after the service starts. (So cut-off for check-in on Sunday is at 9:30 am and 11:15 am). Children ages birth through pre-k 5 are checked in at their individual classroom doors in the Early Childhood Center (rear/south end of the Worship Center) using a sign-in sheet.
Families who are registered with us have their child’s name and parent’s pictures pre-printed on our sign-in sheet; visitors sign in on a separate sign-in sheet. At pickup, parent pictures or signatures are matched to ensure each child goes home with the right adult. When available, pagers are given out at the Infants & Toddlers rooms. Should we need to reach you while you are in the Worship Center, we will flash your child's last name and first name initial on the large screens in the Worship Center.
What to Expect
Our team is committed to not only teaching, but showing your child Jesus' love. We do this through relationships, age-appropriate environments, creative teaching and fun experiences, all while taking every precaution to ensure the safety of your child.
We desire for each child to experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and relationships with each other. Just as we need community, so do our children!
As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow with other children and their leaders.
Kids see the world differently than we do. Their understanding, life experiences and needs affect how they comprehend the Gospel. Our environments and lesson materials are created based on the physical, mental and emotional needs of each age group.
Creative Bible Teaching
Kids love stories, and we believe that The Bible is the most amazing story ever told! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that interest and engage children at their level. Our goal is that our children will love learning God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
Kids love having fun! We know that a big part of keeping children interested, engaged and wanting to come back is by creating fun experiences. Our team works to present the Gospel through new and fun games and activities each week.
Safety is a top priority -- it is vital as families entrust us with their children each week.
