A relationship with Jesus is an incredible adventure. Our Sunday school alternative is a wonderful place for your children to learn about what it means to know and love God.
We want children to love coming to church!
We strive to creatively teach scriptural truth at a child's level of understanding.
River Adventure is offered during both the 9:00am & 10:45am services
Check In Procedure
Drop Off & Pick Up
Elementary age children (Kindergarten through 5th grade) are checked in at The Early Childhood Center (rear/south end of Worship Center). Children are invited to attend the worship service with their parents if they miss the check-in deadline. Children are picked up at check-out locations as follows (directional signs are displayed at pick-up and drop-off areas):
Kindergarten & first graders are picked up outside the Sunrise Room (east side of Worship Center facing Chapel building) at the north door.
2nd graders are picked up outside the Sunrise Room (east side of Worship Center facing Chapel building) at the south door.
3rd, 4th & 5th graders are picked up from the Sunset Room entrance just inside the west side of the Worship Center through the southmost glass doors (facing St. Andrews Blvd).
Check-in closes 30 minutes after the service begins. (So cutoff on Sunday is at 9:30 am and 11:15 am).
Elementary-age children use scannable badges as identification. Parents who have registered with us are issued these scannable badges for their elementary-age children.
They have two purposes: (1) to alert us to any allergies we need to be aware of, and to provide pictures of the child’s parents to ensure that children are picked up by the right adult. Children wearing badges enter the program quickly as their badges are scanned for attendance.
Children without badges must enter their phone number in computer and receive two temporary badges - one for the child to wear and one for the parent to show at the pick-up door to get their child.
Visitors may sign their children in on a sign-in sheet at drop-off and the same person must sign them out again at pick-up.
What to Expect
Our team is committed to not only teaching, but showing your child Jesus' love. We do this through relationships, age-appropriate environments, creative teaching and fun experiences, all while taking every precaution to ensure the safety of your child.
We desire for each child to experience a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and relationships with each other. Just as we need community, so do our children!
As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow with other children and their leaders.
Kids see the world differently than we do. Their understanding, life experiences and needs affect how they comprehend the Gospel. Our environments and lesson materials are created based on the physical, mental and emotional needs of each age group.
Creative Bible Teaching
Kids love stories, and we believe that The Bible is the most amazing story ever told! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that interest and engage children at their level. Our goal is that our children will love learning God’s Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
We encourage children to bring their own Bibles to use during small group time.
Kids love having fun! We know that a big part of keeping children interested, engaged and wanting to come back is by creating fun experiences. Our team works to present the Gospel through new and fun games and activities each week.
Safety is a top priority -- it is vital as families entrust us with their children each week.
