Sundays: What To Expect
Pastor Tommy teaches directly from the Bible, speaking clearly to both Christians and non-Christians. He connects spiritual teaching to everyday, practical experiences.
Attire ranges from shorts to business casual.
A live band that leads in modern songs and hymns, incorporating prayers and other readings into the service.
Plenty of parking is available, and a friendly group of volunteers are available to assist you.
River Adventure is created specifically for your children ages birth through 5th grade. Throughout the year, River Adventure walks your child through the entire Bible in a way he or she can understand, and our teachers are trained to connect with them through games, songs, stories and fun projects.
We go the extra mile to make River Adventure safe:
- SRC requires professional background checks for all volunteers.
- Our equipment is sanitized weekly.
- Medical professionals are on-site and on-call.
- We make it easy to contact you if you're ever needed during the service.
In the 9:00am service on Sundays, we offer Middle School Discipleship - an environment for students from sixth to eighth grade. This community of students and caring adult leaders, digs deeper into the Bible and places a special emphasis on conversation and answering student questions about faith. MS Discipleship currently meets in the youth building on the east end of our campus.
Spanish River began in 1967 with 13 people meeting in an office building in downtown Boca Raton. Over the last 50 years, we have grown in size but remain committed to the belief that the church is much more than a place you "go to." It's a people who experience, model, and share the good news of God's love.
We recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary. Learn more about how God has worked in and through Spanish River Church over the years.
