“This has been a year of transformation — of hearts awakened by the Father’s love, lives redeemed through the Son’s death and resurrection, and souls renewed by the Spirit’s power.
Recently, someone shared with our team how she first walked through our doors early this year, uncertain of what to expect. By the end of her first Sunday, she said she wept through the sermon, realizing, “This is exactly where God wants me to be.” Soon after, she joined a LifeGroup — and found not just a class, but a family.
As her love for God’s Word grew, so did her desire to serve. She began volunteering in Women’s Ministry, then in Kids Ministry, and now in Stephen Ministry, caring for others with compassion born from grace. Not long ago, she said, “Spanish River isn’t just my church — it’s my home. God has changed my life here.”
That’s what we mean by transformation — the gospel taking root so deeply that it blossoms outward into a generous heart, overflowing with love and service to others.”
