SRC Young Adults

We are Better Together

SRC Young Adults is a community for young adults aged 18-26 to connect, grow, and serve together. We host events, Bible studies, and activities designed to help you navigate life's challenges and deepen your faith. Join us on Thursday nights for dinner, worship, and community!

Whether you're a college student, working professional, or just figuring things out, you're welcome here. Our goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, ask questions, and find support and friendship. Come as you are, and let's journey together!

NEW FALL SERIES

Blessed is Backwards:
Jesus Defines the Good Life in the Beatitudes

Beatitudes is a strange word. No one has ever used that word to describe anything else except Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 5. There Jesus unpacks the blessed life of living in God’s kingdom.

But this blessed life is backwards. It’s normal to think:

  • Blessed are the wealthy, for they will live the fullest lives.

  • Blessed are the pushy, for they get what they want.

  • Blessed are the carefree, for they will live with unlimited freedom.

Against that backdrop, it is strange that Jesus congratulates those who lack social power, are quick to forgive, and show no more strength than is necessary. But that strangeness is why blessed is backwards in the kingdom of God.

Sunday Lunches After Church

Come eat and make a friend after church on the East Campus.
We’ll start around 12:15pm on these Sundays: 8/30, 10/4, 11/15
