Upward Basketball
& Cheerleading
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is a community sports league -- specifically designed for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade -- that promotes character and self-esteem.
About the Program
Established in 1995, Upward Sports is the world’s largest Christian youth sports provider. Today, approximately half a million players at more than 2,000 churches in 47 states participate in camps, clinics, and leagues through Upward Sports’ Recreation Division.

Participants must attend one of the following sessions to be placed on a team.
Tues, Oct. 28, 6-8PM, 3rd/4th Boys & Girls
Thurs, Oct. 30, 6-8PM, K-2nd Boys & Girls
Mon, Nov. 10, 6-8PM, 5th-8th Boys & Girls
Wed, Nov. 12, 6-8PM, Wait List & Make Ups
All cheerleaders may attend either 10/28 or 11/12.
Multi participant families may attend any session.
Plan on 15-45 minutes.

Season Details & Information

Practices and Games
Each 1st-8th grade basketball team and each cheer squad will have a 1 hour weeknight practice beginning in December and a 1 hour Saturday game beginning in January. (Kindergarten basketball practices and plays games on Saturday mornings only.)
Practice nights and times are determined once teams are drafted and based upon the coach's availability. Game times begin with our youngest divisions in the morning and older divisions in the afternoon; 5th-8th players may play games at a gym other than SRC.

Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is open to all kids currently enrolled in Kindergarten thru 8th grade.
Early Registration (before 10/01/25): $160
Regular Registration (10/01/25 and after): $175 -
Discounts
$10.00 off your second child
$15.00 off your third child
$20.00 off your fourth child and above
