Serve the City at Spanish River Church is our once-per-month invitation to live out Christ’s love in practical ways!
Through opportunities to volunteer and partner with trusted nonprofits and SRC ministries, and in leadership roles, Serve the City connects hand and heart so that every member and guest can understand why we serve (and do so in a way that fits their schedule and calling, whether you can serve once, monthly, or throughout the year). If you would like to serve or want to help lead in planning future events on the Serve the City Planning Team, there is a place for you to serve, lead, and grow!

Serve at Ride4Orphans
Saturday, April 25
2400 Yamato Rd.
Ride4Orphans is a community cycling event that raises funds to bring hope to vulnerable children around the world and foster children locally. Open to riders of all levels, it donates 100% of proceeds directly to trusted organizations doing frontline work. A major focus is supporting orphans in Gonaives, Haiti, through El Shaddai Ministries, helping improve their daily lives and future opportunities. This event cannot happen without our help! Discover serving opportunities in registration, photography, and much more.
Food Pantry Drive
Saturday, May 16

It’s time for May’s Serve the City event! Following Jesus’ reminder, “…for I was hungry and you gave me food… Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me,” we’re joining CROS Ministries to provide food for families in our community who need it most. Come make a difference with us!

Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Florida Atlantic University, led by SRC staff member Jeff Lee, is a campus ministry that disciples college students through Bible studies, mentoring, fellowship, and outreach. RUF helps students grow in faith, build Christ-centered community, and develop as future leaders who will serve Christ in their professions, churches, and families.

Scouts BSA Troop at Spanish River Church, led by Deacon Steve Swann, is a youth leadership and service program that meets on SRC’s campus and regularly supports church ministries through service projects, campus improvement work, and community outreach. Through character formation, teamwork, and hands-on service, Scouts develop responsibility, leadership, and a heart for serving others while contributing meaningfully to the life of Spanish River Church.
